We exceeded by one point the qualification obtained in the previous edition of the Wine Up!

We started 2017 with great force and good news. Our VR Barrica 2012 wine has just received the Gold Taste 91+ mention in the wine and distillate wine guide Wine Up! Scored by Joaquín Parra. Thus exceeding the rating obtained in the previous edition of the guide.
VR Barrica is a high quality menu made from some of the oldest strains located in our Ribeira Sacra vineyards. These strains have yields around 1kg of fruit with whose wine we want to demonstrate the latent potential of the Ribeira Sacra.
VR remains between 7 and 11 months in French oak barrels, and in its tasting we highlight characteristics such as:Intense cherry red color with rosy ribbons that denote a noble aging in wooden barrel. Clean and bright.Notes of red, balsamic fruits, barrel well assembled giving subtle spicy notes.
